Summary:
We were picked up at the hotel on the Zambia side and transported to the helicopter operator on the Zimbabwe side. The driver helped us navigate immigration on both sides and we were met by the helicopter operators driver after Zimbabwe immigration. At the helipad we were quickly checked in and loaded on the helicopter. The ride itself was the short one over the gorge and falls and the views were amazing! After we were returned to our driver at the border who helped us get through immigration again and back to our hotel.

Summary:
You should be lucky here. The aircraft usually has one seat at the front next to the pilot, three seats at the rear. So if you're sitting in the middle, the view can be a bit tedious. We were lucky and sat at the window seat or in front of the pilot. Despite the fact that the Victoria Falls hardly carry any water, the sight from above is really huge. We were in the air for a good 15 minutes, not a second is to be regretted.
Of course, this venture is a bit high-priced (USD 160,-per person) but every cent is well spent here.
